Product Overview
The flail mower with cutting width of 160cm is designed for front-mounting on compact tractors from 35HP. They are optimized especially for grass collecting with the collection systems of the CLS series. The 44 mower blades ensure a clean cut and thanks to the round housing shape and the high rotor speed a perfect material flow without lumps and turbulences is always guaranteed. Due to the suction effect of the flail mower the cuttings are transported at high speed to the collection system in the funnel-shaped duct.
The mower is optionally available with mechanical or hydraulic drive with triple belt drive. For an optimal handling the mower can be optionally equipped with 360 degree, freely-pivoting and height-adjustable wheels.

Applications
Cut & Collect Mowing
As Councils and Private Companies are becoming more environmentally aware, they are looking to reduce the amount of cuts per year and also the impact cuttings have on weeds. The more you can collect the cuttings, the less this will feed the grass, resulting in less rich growth. Grass clippings collected are also unable to spread onto hard surfaces where they can provide a nutrient rich growing medium for weeds.
